Father’s Prayer of Protection for His Children

Lord, my God and my Father, You are great, awesome in power, and worthy of all trust. – (Psalm 86:10)

I stand before You as a father, and I present my children into Your care. – (Mark 10:13)

Deliver them from all evil and keep them from every danger, for You are a shield to all who take refuge in You. – (Psalm 18:30)

May they be strong and courageous, and not be afraid, for the Lord goes with them; I know He will never leave them nor forsake them. – (Deuteronomy 31:6)

May they walk in integrity,
and may the Lord be a shield to those who walk uprightly. – (Proverbs 2:7)

Cover them with Your blood, Jesus, for in You we have redemption through Your blood, the forgiveness of sins. – (Ephesians 1:7)

Teach them to love Your Word, and may it be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. – (Psalm 119:105)

Plant them by Your river of living water, so they may bear fruit in due season and their leaves never wither. – (Psalm 1:3)

May they be sheltered under Your wings, and may Your faithfulness always be their shield. – (Psalm 91:4)

Send Your angels around them, to deliver and uphold them in all their ways. – (Psalm 34:7; Psalm 91:11)

Lord, You are faithful. And I know that He who began a good work in them will complete it. – (Philippians 1:6)

I entrust them into Your care, for I know whom I have believed. – (2 Timothy 1:12)
